About this piece
A grumpy cat, a cup of coffee, and a two-word boundary. This oversized tee prints the internet’s most relatable energy on premium 240 GSM cotton, for the days when the calendar says yes but your soul says absolutely not.
Fair warning: people will relate to your shirt out loud, in public, to you. It is that kind of design.
The design
A deadpan-faced cat hunched over a coffee cup with ‘NOT TODAY’ set in clean type — humour that lands through the drawing rather than through a wall of text. Printed on white for maximum morning-light honesty.
Simple line illustration is unforgiving in a way busy artwork is not. There is nowhere to hide a blurred edge when the design is six lines and a word: if the cat’s outline thickens unevenly, the expression changes and the joke stops working. High-density printing keeps the line weight consistent, which is the entire reason the face still reads as deadpan after a year.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For cat people, introverts, Monday survivors and everyone whose RSVP default is ‘maybe’. It is one of our most-gifted tees, usually for the friend who cancels plans — lovingly.
It is the most office-safe piece in the funny half of our range: monochrome, clean, nothing anyone needs to be warned about. Wear it with jeans and it passes as a plain graphic tee until someone reads it.
Fabric and build quality
The unglamorous part is where the money goes: fabric pre-shrunk so the fit you order is the fit you keep, a bio-wash so it is soft immediately rather than after a month, and double stitching through the three seams that give out first. The blank is 240 GSM French Terry, 100% cotton. Detail: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
Take your usual size. This is cut generously by design and sizing up almost always produces something longer than expected rather than wider in a useful way. Flat measurements are listed on this page: chest 42, 44, 46, 48 and length 27.5, 28.5, 29.5, 30.5. If you are on a boundary, read the oversized size guide for India.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
The print flexes with the fabric instead of sitting on it, which is why fine detail stays readable rather than filling in. Wash cold, turn the t-shirt inside out, skip bleach and softener, and keep it out of the dryer — tumbling plus heat is harder on artwork than years of wearing. Detail: why prints crack and how to stop it.
Shipping, COD and exchanges
Free tracked shipping anywhere in India, dispatched in 24 to 48 hours and usually delivered in 3 to 7 days. Cash on Delivery available. Exchanges run on a 7-day window from delivery for sizing or defects — tags on, one WhatsApp message, and we arrange pickup and replacement.
Not Today Cat Oversized T-Shirt — FAQs
Is the Not Today Cat print durable?
It is a high-density print on 240 GSM cotton, which is what keeps a simple line drawing crisp rather than letting the outline thicken and blur. Cold wash, inside out, line dry — the cat’s grumpiness outlasts the washing machine.
Is this design okay for office-casual settings?
Generally yes. It is clean, monochrome-friendly humour with nothing offensive in it, which makes it the most office-safe of our funny tees. It reads as a plain graphic tee until someone is close enough to read the words.
Does it come in black?
It is made on white — the morning-light look is the point of the design, and the joke lands softer on a dark ground. Pair it with one of our black graphic tees if your rotation needs contrast.
Will a white tee go see-through?
No. At 240 GSM the blank is roughly twice the weight of a standard promotional tee, which is heavy enough to stay opaque in daylight where thin white tees do not.
Do you ship outside India?
Not currently — every order is printed and shipped within India, which is also why delivery is free and tracked domestically. If that changes we will say so on the site rather than quietly adding a checkout option.
Are the tees pre-shrunk?
Yes, the fabric is pre-shrunk before the garment is cut, so the size you order is the size it stays. Washing cold is still worth doing, mostly to protect the print rather than the fit.
