What GSM actually does to a tee
GSM is grams per square metre — the weight of a square metre of the knit. It is not a quality score, it is a description of what the garment will feel like. Lighter cloth is cooler and drapes softly against the body. Heavier cloth resists that: it hangs away from you, holds the shape it was cut into, and does not cling. Bewakoof’s own category page puts the trade-off well, saying that around 180 feels airy for peak summer while closer to 240 holds structure and drapes properly.
Weight matters more on an oversized cut than on a regular tee, because the whole look depends on the fabric holding a line rather than collapsing onto your shoulders. It also affects the print. A print sits on a fabric base; the more that base stretches and rubs, the more the print is worked. A denser knit moves less under the same wear, which is one reason heavier tees tend to keep a graphic looking flat and even for longer.
Toxikiing publishes 240 GSM French Terry on its tees and 300 GSM brushed fleece on its oversized hoodies. That is honestly not the heaviest number on this page: Bluorng publishes 260 GSM on the two tees checked, and it charges accordingly. Comicsense deserves credit for publishing GSM per product with a stated tolerance, which is more transparency than most Indian brands offer. Where Toxikiing differs is that the same 240 GSM spec applies across the graphic tee range rather than varying product to product.
What “oversized” means when you pick a size
Oversized is a cut, not a size up. A true oversized drop-shoulder tee has the shoulder seam sitting partway down your arm on purpose, with a wider body and a shorter, boxier length. Buying a size up in a regular-fit tee gives you a baggy regular tee, not this.
Because the cut already builds in room, the size you order is not the size you would order elsewhere. Comicsense publishes genuinely useful advice on this — pick your usual size for the look shown, go one size down for something less baggy — and The Souled Store publishes a full garment chart in inches for its oversized tee, covering garment chest and length across the range. The honest note on Toxikiing: most products come in S, M, L and XL, and 7 of the 31 products are M/L/XL only. If you wear a small, seven items in the catalogue will not have your size. Bewakoof and Bluorng are both clearly better on size range — Bewakoof’s oversized catalogue is described as XS to 6XL, and Bluorng lists XXXS to XXXL on the product checked. What a return window is really worth
A return window on a tee is mostly a size insurance policy. What matters is not just the number of days but three practical things: whether they collect the parcel, whether you get money or credit back, and what is excluded.
On this measure The Souled Store is the strongest brand here, and it is worth saying plainly. Thirty days, reverse pick-up for most pin codes, and the option to return or exchange in person at one of their physical stores is more coverage than an online-only brand can offer. Comicsense advertises a longer 100-day window, but the condition attached matters: you must email them within 7 days of delivery to be eligible, and since they have no reverse pickup you ship the item back yourself, with ₹100 added to their wallet as compensation, once per order. Veirdo gives 7 days and states exchanges are free of charge. Bluorng’s published policy is 7 days to initiate an exchange, refunded as a credit note valid 90 days rather than cash — and the same document uses a 48-hour window in one clause and contradicts itself on who pays reverse shipping, so read it before buying at those prices.
Toxikiing offers a 7-day size exchange on stock designs, and none on custom made-to-order pieces. That second half is a real limitation and there is no way to dress it up: a shirt printed with your file cannot be resold to anyone else, so it cannot be taken back. Licensed merchandise or original fan artwork
This is the row where the difference is real and worth understanding rather than spinning.
Several of these brands hold or claim official licences. The Souled Store describes its Marvel range as official merchandise, and its own oversized listing counts 148 Marvel and 80 DC Comics items. Bewakoof states that all Marvel sweatshirts it sells are officially licensed, and runs collaboration lines including Harry Potter, Disney, Cartoon Network and Peanuts. Veirdo states its Marvel products are officially licensed by Marvel Entertainment, LLC and calls its Disney range 100% official.
Toxikiing is not officially licensed. Our Mobile Legends and anime designs are original in-house fan artwork inspired by those characters, and we will never describe them as official merchandise. Comicsense takes a similar approach, stating in its site-wide footer that its artworks are intended as fan art submitted by independent artists.
The trade-off is straightforward. A licensed tee carries the official mark and the studio’s approved character art, which is exactly what some people want. It is also, by definition, printed for a mass catalogue, so the same artwork is on a very large number of chests. Original fan artwork gives you a drawing that exists only because someone drew it for this brand — the pieces in our anime and gaming range are not on any other brand’s rack. Neither is better in the abstract. They are two different things to want.

No. Toxikiing is not officially licensed by any studio or game publisher. Every design is original in-house fan artwork inspired by those characters. If you specifically want officially licensed merchandise, brands such as The Souled Store, Bewakoof and Veirdo state on their own sites that they carry licensed ranges.
Is a 240 GSM tee better than a 180 GSM one?
Not better, different. Around 180 GSM is lighter and airier for hot weather; around 240 GSM holds its shape, hangs away from the body and keeps an oversized cut looking structured rather than clingy. Can I exchange a custom printed t-shirt if the size is wrong?
No. The 7-day size exchange applies to stock designs only. A custom piece is made to order with your uploaded artwork and cannot be resold, so it is not exchangeable.
