‘no rush’, set in widely spaced lowercase with a thin rule drawn underneath it, printed small and centred on a black 240 GSM oversized tee.
It is a statement piece for people who do not like statement pieces. The letter spacing does most of the talking — the words are pulled apart until the phrase reads slowly, which is a fairly literal piece of typographic design.
The design
Two elements: the words, and a single horizontal line beneath them. The generous tracking between letters is the design decision, and it is why the phrase reads as a measured instruction rather than a slogan. The rule underneath closes the composition and gives the type a base to sit on.
A thin horizontal line is deceptively difficult. It has to hold exactly the same weight from end to end — any thickening in the middle or fading at the ends reads as a printing fault rather than as a design, and on a dark blank a white line has no margin for error at all. Printed dense, it stays a clean, even rule.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For people who work too much and know it, anyone rebuilding a slower routine, and the broader group who want black-tee minimalism with one line of dry commentary on it.

Most garments sold as “oversized” here are 180 GSM blanks cut a size up, which is why they collapse at the shoulder by the second wash. This one starts from 240 GSM French Terry, 100% cotton, on a pattern drafted oversized from the beginning — pre-shrunk, bio-washed, double-stitched through shoulder, armhole and hem. Fit and sizing
Because the pattern is already oversized, your usual size lands where the design intends. Going up a size buys length more than width, which is rarely what people actually want. Printing, care and how long it lasts
Ink is bonded into the fibre, not layered on the surface, so there is no plastic patch to lift at the corners. Keeping it sharp is mostly temperature: cold wash, inside out, no softener, line dry in shade. Never iron across the artwork. How large is the lettering?
Small and centred on the chest, roughly a hand’s width across. It is a minimal piece by design, so it reads as a plain black tee until someone is close enough to read two words.
Why is the text spaced out like that?
The wide letter spacing is deliberate — it slows the phrase down as you read it, which is the whole idea. Tightening it up would make it look like an ordinary slogan tee.
Will the thin underline stay even?
That line is the part most likely to betray a weak print, because any variation in thickness along its length is obvious. It is laid down at high density so it stays a clean, consistent rule. Keep it out of a hot dryer.
Does this pair with anything else in the range?
