Description
About this piece
A classical face rendered in blue halftone dots, a butterfly crossing it, an orange sun behind and a checkerboard floor warping away into a portal beneath.
Collages only work when the pieces disagree in a controlled way — antique sculpture against printer dots, warm sun against cool halftone, flat pattern against depth. This one is arranged carefully enough to read as a single image rather than four.
The design
Halftone is what holds it together. Rendering the face in dots rather than continuous tone puts the sculpture and the flat graphic elements into the same visual language, so a marble bust and a checkerboard can share a composition without one looking pasted onto the other.
It is also the hardest thing we print, and harder still on fleece. Halftone is thousands of individual dots that must stay individual; let them bleed and the face becomes a blue smudge. Dense, controlled ink keeps the dot structure visible on a brushed surface, which is the entire reason the technique earns its place here.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For people who like surreal collage and print-process aesthetics, and anyone who wants a light hoodie that rewards a second look rather than announcing itself across a room.
It works over denim or black bottoms and keeps its detail under an open jacket. Keep other patterns out of the fit — the checkerboard already occupies that role.
Fabric and build quality
300 GSM brushed-fleece cotton, which is roughly double what a standard promotional garment weighs. Heavy enough that it does not telegraph what you are wearing underneath, and structured enough to keep its shape through a season rather than going soft by the fourth wear. On weights generally: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
Sizes S to XL in a boxy oversized cut, so your usual size gives the intended drape. One honest caveat: flat measurements for this hoodie are not published yet, and we will not show you the t-shirt chart instead — a 300 GSM hoodie is cut wider and longer, so those numbers would send you a size wrong. WhatsApp us and we will measure the actual garment. General sizing logic: the oversized size guide for India.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
The raised texture you can feel on the print is the ink sitting in the fabric rather than on it — that is what stops it cracking along fold lines. Cold wash, inside out, shade dry, no softener. It is a low-maintenance garment provided heat stays out of the equation. More: why prints crack and how to stop it.

Dream Archive Oversized Hoodie — FAQs
What are the hoodie measurements?
We have not published flat measurements for this hoodie yet. Showing you the t-shirt figures would be worse than saying nothing, because a 300 GSM hoodie is cut wider and longer — message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the actual garment.
Will the halftone detail hold up?
Halftone is the most demanding print we produce because the dots must stay separate, which is why it is laid down at high density. Wash cold, inside out, and never tumble dry — heat is what makes dots bleed together.
How do I keep the white clean?
Cold wash inside out, deal with marks before they set, and avoid bleach entirely — it yellows cotton over time and damages the print. Dry in shade rather than direct sun.
Is the halftone visible up close?
Yes, deliberately. At a distance the face reads as a photograph of a sculpture; up close it resolves into individual dots. That shift between distances is the point of the design.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched in 24 to 48 hours and typically arrive within 3 to 7 days, tracked and at no shipping cost. Remote pin codes sit at the longer end of that window.
How warm is a 300 GSM hoodie?
It is a proper winter weight with a brushed fleece interior — dense enough to work as an outer layer through most Indian winters rather than as a light layering piece. Noticeably heavier than our 240 GSM tees.
