About this piece
The same liquid-chrome butterfly that carries our Chrome Morph tee, moved onto something with considerably more presence. A hoodie gives a graphic this reflective more room and a heavier surface to sit on.
The cool blue highlights read differently against brushed fleece than they do against jersey — softer at the edges, deeper in the shadows. It is the same artwork behaving like a different piece.
The design
The butterfly is built from reflection rather than outline: there is no hard border holding the shape together, only the point where the highlights stop. On fleece that works in the design’s favour, because the slightly textured surface diffuses the edges exactly the way real chrome softens against a matte background.
The composition is raised on the chest panel so it sits above the kangaroo pocket rather than disappearing into the seam, which is the most common mistake when a tee graphic is moved onto a hoodie without re-proportioning it. Gradient work needs dense ink to avoid banding, and on 300 GSM fleece there is enough fabric weight to carry it without the panel stiffening.

We have not published flat measurements for this hoodie yet, and we would rather say that than show you the t-shirt numbers — a 300 GSM hoodie is cut wider and longer than a tee, so those figures would send you to the wrong size. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the garment for you.
Is the design printed on the back?
No. Front-only with a plain back, and the composition is raised so it sits above the kangaroo pocket rather than being half swallowed by the seam.
How do I stop the fleece going flat?
Wash cold, inside out, and skip fabric softener — softener coats the brushed fibres and is what flattens the pile. Line dry rather than tumble drying, and give fleece longer to dry since it holds a lot of water.
Is it the same artwork as the Chrome Morph tee?
The same butterfly, re-proportioned for the hoodie panel. It reads slightly differently because brushed fleece diffuses the highlight edges where flat jersey keeps them sharp.
