This tee bottles that energy: the Fire Version artwork printed in high density on a 240 GSM oversized blank, so the flame work reads bright and the blacks stay genuinely deep rather than washing out to charcoal.

The design

The print leans hard into the crossover’s signature look — crossed flames, sharp dagger geometry and that unmistakable fighting-game attitude — placed as a bold chest-and-torso graphic rather than a small pocket hit. Warm oranges and reds are the palette, and they carry hardest against a dark ground.

Bright colour over dark fabric is the hardest print job on this catalogue to get right, because thin ink goes muddy and thick ink goes stiff. High-density printing is how the flames stay saturated without turning the chest panel into a rubber plate. The oversized drop-shoulder cut then does the rest of the work, keeping a loud graphic wearable by giving it room to sit flat.

Flame artwork also depends on its edges. A fire shape is mostly boundary — long tapering tongues that thin to a point — and a print that spreads even slightly turns those points into rounded blobs, which is the moment the flames stop looking like fire and start looking like orange paint. The blank this is printed on

Loud artwork needs a heavy blank more than quiet artwork does. A large warm-toned print puts real ink weight on one panel, and on a thin shirt that panel starts to hang differently from the rest — you end up with a tee that sags where the graphic is. At 240 GSM the French Terry carries the load without distorting around it.

It is 100% cotton, pre-shrunk before cutting so the size you order is the size you keep, bio-washed so it does not need a month of breaking in, and double-stitched through the three seams that fail first on cheap tees. Fit and sizing

This is the piece where sizing up is most tempting and least useful — a big graphic on a bigger tee just moves the flames somewhere you cannot see them. Order your usual size; the cut is oversized already. Measured flat across the chest and from the high shoulder point: 42 inches by 27.5 at S, rising two inches in the chest and one in the length per size, to 48 by 30.5 at XL. How the print ages, and how to slow it down

Warm colours are the first thing heat takes. Orange and red sit at the top of the fade order, so the flames will dull long before the black ground does if this tee spends time in a hot machine.

Wash it cold and inside out, skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibres and dulls a saturated print — and line dry in shade rather than direct sun. Never press an iron onto the artwork.
