Description
About this piece
A panther mid-roar, framed by acid-green rings radiating out from the sound, distressed graffiti lettering stacked around it.
The whole thing is built like a gig poster — one dominant subject, one aggressive accent colour, type treated as texture rather than information. It reads from across a street and still holds together close up.
The design
The rings are the idea: drawing sound as concentric bands radiating from the animal turns a straightforward big-cat graphic into something with motion and volume, and gives the acid green a structural place to live rather than being splashed around.
Distressed lettering depends on thousands of small broken edges staying broken. Flatten them with thin ink and the type simply looks badly printed rather than deliberately weathered — a distinction that collapses fast on a textured fleece surface. Dense printing preserves the grain and keeps the acid green sitting hot against the black instead of sinking in.
Acid green is also the colour most likely to look cheap if it is handled carelessly. It sits at a high value and a very high saturation, so on a black ground it either glows or it looks like highlighter ink, with almost nothing in between. The rings are weighted to fade slightly as they travel outward, which is what keeps the effect reading as sound rather than as a flat neon shape stuck behind the animal.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For people who like poster-grade graphics and loud accent colours, and anyone building a winter fit around one aggressive piece rather than several quiet ones.
Black underneath, dark bottoms, heavy footwear, nothing else printed. The green is doing enough. Wear it as the outer layer — the radiating rings need their full width to read properly.
Fabric and build quality
There is a specific way cheap oversized clothing fails: right in the photo, wrong on the third wear, because a light blank has nothing holding it up. A 300 GSM blank does. Cut as a true boxy, drop-shoulder oversized hoodie fit, pre-shrunk before the pattern is laid, with the stress seams doubled. The full comparison: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
Take your usual size; the fit is oversized before you make any decision. There is no flat measurement chart for this hoodie yet and we are not going to substitute the tee figures, because a 300 GSM hooded piece is cut to different proportions entirely. One WhatsApp message and we will measure the garment for you. The oversized size guide for India covers the rest.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
The raised texture you can feel on the print is the ink sitting in the fabric rather than on it — that is what stops it cracking along fold lines. Cold wash, inside out, shade dry, no softener. It is a low-maintenance garment provided heat stays out of the equation. More: why prints crack and how to stop it.
Shipping, COD and exchanges
Shipping is free and tracked, dispatch takes 24 to 48 hours, and most orders land in 3 to 7 days depending on the pin code. COD is available alongside UPI and cards. Sizing exchanges are open for 7 days from delivery with the tags still on.
Wild Frequency Oversized Hoodie — FAQs
What are the hoodie measurements?
Not published yet for this hoodie, and we would rather say so than reuse the t-shirt chart, which would send you to the wrong size on a 300 GSM hooded cut. WhatsApp us and we will measure the garment before you order.
Will the acid green fade?
Bright accents dull from heat rather than from wearing. Cold wash, inside out, no fabric softener, line dry in shade, and it keeps its intensity against the black.
Is anything printed on the back?
No, the back is plain. The front is loud enough that a second graphic would be competing with it.
Is the distressed lettering meant to look worn?
Yes, the weathering is drawn into the artwork on purpose. The ink itself is laid down dense so those broken edges stay crisp rather than smudging further over time.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, COD works across India, along with UPI, cards and net banking via Razorpay. Shipping is free and tracked regardless of payment method, dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched in 24 to 48 hours and typically arrive within 3 to 7 days, tracked and at no shipping cost. Remote pin codes sit at the longer end of that window.
