Description
About this piece
A marble bust fractured down one side, deep red roses pushing out through the break, BLOOM set in distressed type beneath.
The contrast is the whole idea — something carved to last, failing, and something soft growing out of the failure. On a heavyweight black hoodie the image gets the weight it deserves.
The design
Three materials share one composition: carved stone, torn edge, living petal, each needing a different treatment to read as itself. The stone stays flat and matte, the fracture stays hard-edged, and the roses carry the only real saturation.
Deep red on black fleece is the most demanding print in the catalogue. Laid down thin, red on a dark ground turns brown and the roses stop reading as alive, which removes the entire point of the design. Dense ink keeps the red genuinely red and keeps the matte stone grey sitting distinct from the black fabric rather than sinking into it.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For people drawn to classical imagery reworked, and anyone who wants a dark winter piece with a real idea behind it rather than another skull graphic.
Wear it monochrome and let the roses be the only colour on you. It pairs naturally with the Abyss Bloom hoodie if you want the set — same restraint, opposite palette and ground.
Fabric and build quality
The blank matters more than the graphic, which is an odd admission for a print brand. A good print on a thin hoodie is still a thin hoodie. 300 GSM brushed-fleece cotton, roughly twice the weight of the promotional blanks most marketplace listings use, pre-shrunk so your size stays your size and double-stitched where garments fail. Background: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
Order your normal size unless you specifically want extra length; the cut is already oversized and boxy. We would rather be straight about measurements: the flat figures for this piece are not published, and reusing our tee chart would mislead you on a 300 GSM hooded cut. Message us and we will measure it before you commit. How oversized sizing works: the oversized size guide for India.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
The raised texture you can feel on the print is the ink sitting in the fabric rather than on it — that is what stops it cracking along fold lines. Cold wash, inside out, shade dry, no softener. It is a low-maintenance garment provided heat stays out of the equation. More: why prints crack and how to stop it.

Concrete Bloom Oversized Hoodie — FAQs
What are the hoodie measurements?
Flat figures are not published for this hoodie yet, and reusing the t-shirt chart would mislead you because a 300 GSM hooded piece is cut wider and longer. WhatsApp us and we will measure the garment before you order.
Will the red roses fade?
Red on black is the pairing most at risk from a thin print, which is why this one is laid down dense. What actually dulls it is heat — cold wash, inside out, line dry, and the saturation holds.
Is anything printed on the back?
No, the back is plain. The front composition is dense enough that a second graphic would compete rather than add.
Does a large dark print stiffen the chest panel?
Less than you would expect, because the ink bonds into the fleece rather than sitting on it as a film. A heavy solid print on a thin blank is what ends up feeling like a board.
What fabric are Toxikiing hoodies made from?
300 GSM brushed-fleece cotton — heavyweight, brushed soft inside, with ribbed cuffs and hem. It is a genuine winter-weight hoodie rather than a mid-weight sweatshirt sold as one. Our t-shirts use 240 GSM French Terry.
What is the return and exchange policy?
You have a 7-day exchange window from delivery for sizing problems or defects. Keep the tags on, send a WhatsApp message, and we arrange the pickup and the replacement piece.
