Description
About this piece
Diagonal panels, a courier mid-stride, violet lightning cutting between the frames and STATIC SOUL set heavy enough to hold the layout together.
The diagonals are what make it work — they pull your eye across the chest rather than letting it settle, so the graphic reads as movement instead of as a picture of someone moving.
The design
A panel layout needs width, which is why it suits a hoodie better than it suits a tee. The extra chest area lets the frames sit at their intended proportions rather than being compressed, and the diagonal travel across the panel reads as a genuine sequence.
Violet is the most fragile colour in the range: on a dark ground thin ink lets it slide toward a dull maroon and lose the electric quality the design depends on. Dense printing holds it at the right value. The gutters between the frames need the same treatment, or the surrounding ink closes them up and the panels merge into one dark mass.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For manga readers and people who like sequential-art composition, and anyone wanting an anime-adjacent winter piece that is not a character portrait.
Black underneath, dark bottoms, and nothing else with a print on it. The layout runs across the chest, so wear it as the outer layer where the full sequence is visible.
Fabric and build quality
This is 300 GSM brushed-fleece cotton on a true boxy, drop-shoulder oversized hoodie fit — not a regular fit scaled up, which is the shortcut nearly everyone takes. The sleeve sits where it does by design and the body stays boxy instead of tapering. Pre-shrunk and bio-washed before it reaches you. Why the number matters: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
Order your normal size unless you specifically want extra length; the cut is already oversized and boxy. We would rather be straight about measurements: the flat figures for this piece are not published, and reusing our tee chart would mislead you on a 300 GSM hooded cut. Message us and we will measure it before you commit. How oversized sizing works: the oversized size guide for India.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
A high-density print survives because it moves with the cotton rather than against it. What it cannot survive is repeated heat. Wash cold and inside out, line dry rather than tumble drying, and iron around the artwork if you iron at all. Full explanation: why prints crack and how to stop it.
Shipping, COD and exchanges
Delivery is free and tracked across India, with dispatch inside 24 to 48 hours and arrival typically within a week. Pay by COD if you would rather see the piece first. Wrong size? You have 7 days from delivery — keep the tags attached and message us, and we handle collection and the swap.
Static Soul Oversized Hoodie — FAQs
Is this from a specific manga?
No. It is original Toxikiing artwork drawn in a manga-influenced panel style rather than a scene from an existing series — nothing licensed or reproduced.
What are the hoodie measurements?
Not published yet, and we are not going to substitute the t-shirt figures, because a 300 GSM hoodie is cut wider and longer than a tee and those numbers would mislead you. WhatsApp us and we will measure the actual garment.
How do I protect the violet?
Keep it away from heat. Violet shifts toward flat maroon with hot water and tumble drying faster than any other colour we print. Cold wash, inside out, line dry in shade.
Will the gaps between the panels stay open?
That is what the dense print protects. Panel gutters are hairline gaps and thin ink bleeds across them until the frames merge. Kept out of a hot dryer, the separation holds.
How warm is a 300 GSM hoodie?
It is a proper winter weight with a brushed fleece interior — dense enough to work as an outer layer through most Indian winters rather than as a light layering piece. Noticeably heavier than our 240 GSM tees.
How should fleece be dried?
Line dry, and give it longer than you would a t-shirt — fleece holds a lot of water. Avoid the tumble dryer entirely: heat flattens the brushed pile and ages the print at the same time.
