About this piece
Mechanical wings, opened wide, built from fine ornamental linework rather than solid shapes — and a lime halo sitting behind them that stops the whole thing from reading as ornament.
ASCEND runs through the middle in lettering sharp enough to hold its own against the detail either side. It is a symmetrical composition, which is harder to make interesting than it looks.
The design
The halo is what makes it work: one flat colour against a great deal of line. Without it the wings would read as decorative filigree; with it they read as a symbol. That single decision is the difference between a tattoo flash sheet and a graphic.
Lime on white is an unforgiving pairing. It is a bright colour with a light value, so thin ink leaves it looking chalky and washed out rather than electric, and there is no dark ground to lend it contrast. Dense printing is the only way to get it to sit confidently, and the ornamental linework around it needs the same density to stay separated rather than closing up.
Who it’s for and how to wear it
For people who like symbolic, symmetrical graphics — the tattoo-adjacent end of streetwear — and anyone who wants a white tee with one strong accent colour rather than a full palette.
The lime does the work, so keep everything else neutral: black, grey or denim, plain footwear. Because the composition is centred and symmetrical it stays readable even partly covered, so it layers better than most of the range.
Fabric and build quality
Most garments sold as “oversized” here are 180 GSM blanks cut a size up, which is why they collapse at the shoulder by the second wash. This one starts from 240 GSM French Terry, 100% cotton, on a pattern drafted oversized from the beginning — pre-shrunk, bio-washed, double-stitched through shoulder, armhole and hem. What the weight actually changes: 240 GSM vs 180 GSM, explained.
Fit and sizing
S to XL, drafted oversized, so start from your normal size. The chart on this page lists the garment measured flat rather than body sizes — 42 inches at S through 48 at XL, lengths 27.5 to 30.5. Anything within half an inch of those figures is within tolerance. The oversized size guide for India handles the awkward cases.
Printing, care and how long it lasts
A high-density print survives because it moves with the cotton rather than against it. What it cannot survive is repeated heat. Wash cold and inside out, line dry rather than tumble drying, and iron around the artwork if you iron at all. Full explanation: why prints crack and how to stop it.

Signal Wings Oversized T-Shirt — FAQs
Is anything printed on the back?
No, the back is plain. The front composition is symmetrical and centred, which reads best on its own without a second graphic behind it.
Will a white tee go see-through?
No. The blank is 240 GSM, roughly twice the weight of a standard promotional tee, which is heavy enough to stay opaque in daylight.
How do I stop the lime accent dulling?
Bright light values are the most heat-sensitive. Wash cold, turn it inside out first, skip fabric softener, and line dry in shade rather than direct sunlight.
Will the fine ornamental linework hold up?
It is printed at high density for that reason — dense ornamental line is exactly what a thin print closes up into a solid patch. Kept out of a hot dryer, the individual lines stay separated.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, credit and debit cards and net banking through Razorpay, plus Cash on Delivery across India. Shipping is free and tracked whichever you choose.
What fabric are Toxikiing tees made from?
100% cotton French Terry at 240 GSM — heavyweight, pre-shrunk and bio-washed, roughly twice the weight of a standard promotional tee. That weight is what makes an oversized cut hang properly instead of drooping. Hoodies use 300 GSM brushed fleece.
